Four years ago, I met a girl who was living through a life she wasn’t particularly happy with – sound familiar? Throwing caution to the wind, she gave up her home, her job… her life… and went on an adventure. It has been quite a ride – mostly a good one – and it all started because she had one hell of a lot of guts.
You can read the detailed story of what happened in The Boy Who Was Afraid of the World, but since she made that jump all those years ago, she has been with me as we hitchhiked around Europe, cycled on budget bicycles, built a pirate ship, taught English in South Korea, and lived in Australia to name but a few. Our adventures continue and they all started on the day she chose not to get on that plane.

My wife and I will be making our “leap” next year. We’ll start in Belize and then make our way to Europe closer to the summer (not a fan of the cold). At some point we have to put our faith in one another and trust each other.
I hope you have a wonderful time together.
