I am excited to announce that over the past few months, I have been working with Ric Gibbs at Xpedition.tv to produce a short film suitable for film festival submission (actually Ric made the movie, I just did the things in it). Here is the trailer.
Originally, the idea was to work with Ric in my attempt to cross on land from the UK to Asia, but as my journey progressed, my plans changed from cycling an old bicycle to rafting the Danube, then to hitchhiking Eastern Europe. Thus the movie changed. It now tells a completely different story, the story of two people – of which I am one and Leah is the other (I have also written a whole book about the beginning of this story which you can read here).
I look forward to letting you know when the full movie is released.

How this movie came to be
Is it possible to see the movie somewhere? I did not find it… Or it is only for festivals and is not online? This documentary looks realy interesting. Thanks.
Unfortunately it was never released so I never got to see it either. It was being produced by xpedition.tv, so maybe they are the best people to speak to. Emily Dobbins-Dale did make a series called Pedal, Paddle, Separate Tracks, showing the same journey, so check that out.
Can’t wait to see whole movie.
Kudos to everyone involved! The teaser already indicates quite some compelling storytelling indeed…
Looking forward to seeing the final product!
