Absolutely. You’ll make plenty of friends along the way. I felt this way at first too when traveling through Romania, Hungary, Russia, and Ukraine. I was shocked at how hospitable and friendly people can be. You just have to put yourself out there, talk to strangers, and have a little faith in people. I have also done a lot of solo traveling even throughout the US and always make new friends in the cities/towns I am visiting.

In short, don’t let a lack of travel companion(s) hold you back from adventuring. If you do, there may never be a ‘right’ time and you might not have the opportunity by then. Life’s short. Follow your dream and take a leap of faith!

        I 100% agree!
In 2013 I just bought a one-way flight ticket and aaaaall alone I left my comfort zone. I met so many friends, so many nice people… I had so many curious experiences!… I spent in Turkey about two years and when I came back home I thought I could write a book about that crazy times.

I guess a lack of companions motivates you even more. Moreover, travelling is kind of meditation. It lets you deeeeep inside of yourself, helps you to find out your own borders and limits, explore your abilities.

I agree completely. For me, travelling alone encourages you to meet people and is a very rewarding way to explore. As an individual, you are far more approachable than a couple, and you will learn to push and depend upon yourself.
