Capturing the Perfect Hitchhiking Moment

Wherever you go in the world and whatever you do, you can find beauty in the simplest things. Hitchhiking around Europe, I found myself surrounded by places, people, and goings on that filled me with wonder.

What I was left with, was an infinite collection of memories, notepads full of scribbles, more photos than my memory card could hold, and over 18 hours of video footage (if you want do some hitchhiking video editing, call me). Right now, the scribbles are being made into a semi-coherent collection of thoughts and stories which I will release very soon (sign up for updates to get an email when it’s ready), some photos are intermittently uploaded, and the video sits largely untouched and unwatched, feeling very much unloved.

It would be impossible to have favourite photos. However, on this fine day, here a few pictures which I particularly enjoy. Not one of them has anything to do with hitchhiking. I hope that you enjoy them too.

Wow some stunning photography man. I can’t wait to hitch in Europe again. One of my favourite experiences.

Thanks. Try north-eastern Europe when you come back from Japan, it’s the best.
