Most people, when they get a job, get a job in order to pay their bills: they do a job not because they love it, but because it serves a purpose and helps them to work towards their end goal (which normally involves paying for two weeks on a beach and regular fixed-interest-rate mortgage repayments). This to me, sounds like hell. A life with nothing to look forward to. Unfortunately society often dictates that we should live life in this way. Of course, I argue that we only have to live this life if we want to. In support of this idea, I just cycled from the UK to Slovakia on an old bicycle and then rafted the Danube with very little money, just because I can.
So, what has children’s play equipment got to do with following one’s dreams? In this case, everything.
Several years ago, my father worked too hard on his renovation (building) business. Then he made a change. He decided to pursue his dream of creating the best children’s play equipment in the world. And you know what? He’s doing it.
This is one of the cases where pictures speak louder than words, so please enjoy the eye candy that follows. The pictures include children’s play houses that are fully insulated and wired with electrics, pirate ships that are big enough to live in, and castles that make your eyes melt to name but a few. My Dad claims that if you can dream it up, he can make it real. I like this idea very much.
If you want to see more, go to FlightsofFantasyCreativePlay.co.uk (you can also ‘like’ the Flights of Fantasy Facebook Page although at this time, it may not be updated regularly). Through Flights of Fantasy, he makes play equipment for both private individuals and businesses. It’s quite a little bit special. Could you imagine doing a job that you love? I hope so.

Better if you own the cubicle!
