Last week, I left the craziness of Istanbul to hit the road and hitchhike once more. Unfortunately, I was over-laden with all of my belongings from the past five months, including my winter clothing and suit. My backpack weighed over 20 kg, yet I had no tent and one sleeping bag.. between two people.
Rather than simply carrying my suit, I decided to try hitching in it while in Bulgaria. Unfortunately the temperature was around 30 degrees in the early hours of the morning and I soon had to take it off.
Here are my pictures of hitchhiking from that day.
I seriously love your blog.. Great colors &
theme. Did you develop this amazing site yourself?
Please reply back as I’m looking to create my own personal site and would like to find out where you got this from or exactly what the theme is named.
Thanks!
Love it! Reminds me of a friend who was so cold on a bus in Australia, he put his wetsuit on.
Putting a wetsuit on to fight cold sounds logical. But cold in Australia… has he been to England?!
I love hitchhiking and I have to ask if it was any easier dressed up?
Unfortunately, despite it being early morning, it was already 30 degrees in Bulgaria, so I didn’t keep the suit on for very long. Thus I failed in my trial run, but I’d be willing to try it again in a cooler environment.
Really? I think it should be easier since you look awesome! Let us know if its way more convenient when you tried it next time.
Put a pretty girl on the side of the road 😉
