A Cultural Map of the World

We all know what a map of the world looks like. How would it be if we rearranged it according to culture so that similar countries were placed next to each other? Based upon findings from the Word Values Survey, a map was constructed that plotted two cultural values and allowed the countries to be viewed in terms of cultural proximity rather than geographic proximity. As a British national who is keen on exploring the world, I can see the value of such a ‘map.’ Take a look at the findings to see which places would offer you the least culture shock in the world.
